Blulogic Offers Clients the New Normal after Covid 19
Blulogic will undertake a Risk Assessment for clients and produce a short operations pamphlet which covers four primary considerations, including;
- What work activity could cause transmission of pathogens
- Consider who is at risk from the viruses, bacteria and moulds
- Think about how likely a person might be to exposure to a virus
- Remove or control risk in offices and public spaces
If an employer has fewer than five employees you do not have to write a Risk Assessment down.
Where the social distancing guidelines cannot be followed in full, in relation to a particular activity, businesses should consider whether that activity needs to continue for the business to operate, and if so, take all the mitigating actions possible to reduce the risk of transmission between their staff.
Further mitigating actions include:
- Increasing the frequency of hand washing, sanitising and surface cleaning.
- Keeping employee activity time as short as possible
- Use screens or barriers to separate people from each other, where possible. Using back-to-back or side-to-side working (rather than face-to-face) whenever possible
- Reduce the number of people each person has contact with by using ‘fixed bubble’s’.
- Can some people work from home?
- Planning for new desks and screens to allow social distance when seated
- Introduce Zoom and Video Conferencing, provide company laptops and company phones
- Stagger work start and finish times
- Consider our own air scrubbing ventilation system. Our system will allow a safer place to work
- Re-plan offices to comply with the recommended spacing advice and consider staggering desk layouts
- Provide appropriate safety signage and thoroughly clean tea points and toilets several times a day
- Replace soap dishes and traditional taps with infrared sensor activated devices
- Consider one-way routes in offices and public spaces
- Stagger occupation times
- Sanitise reception desks, print rooms and photocopiers more than once a day
Multiple hand sanitisers should be provided around an office, public spaces or meeting areas
Employers should provide antibacterial spray for employee’s keyboards, especially if used by multiply employees, as in shops and wholesalers
Guidance should be provided by employers for the use of toilet, showers and change facilities
A written code of practice should be given to all employees, Blulogic will provide this document to clients
